Recently I missed the start of a couple of new TV series that I was looking forward to. While I knew these were upcoming series the premier date had not been announced and even if it had series originating outside of the states can at time be difficult to track with service like TVTime and FollowShows. Add to that, if the series is weeks or months out the Plex guide would be useless in this respect.
Therefore, my feature request would be to allow the user to search for a title of an upcoming series or movie. If it fails because it’s out of range of the guide an option would pop up for notification or auto scheduling when or if the guide data is updated with said title.
That way the user can set and forget or be auto notified of an upcoming series / movie that they otherwise could t schedule.
