I installed the new Windows desktop app and found an extremely annoying feature/bug. I use the app mostly to listen to music. Love it because it integrates my existing media collection with Tidal.
The problem is that when I have the app open on my desktop and it is minimized while working in other software I can’t control the media playback (play/pause, next, previous) by hovering over the icon on the taskbar and clicking the appropriate control button inside the little mini window that pops up. Instead, when I hover over the icon on the taskbar, the the only function inside the mini window is the Settings button.
Every media software I have ever used, including the Windows Store version of Plex always show the media controls in that mini window. Why on earth would I need to access the app settings in that manner. Just weird.
