Plexamp on windows - add media buttons to taskbar preview

Quite useful feature to add on windows platform are buttons (play, stop, etc) in taskbar preview (when mouse is over taskbar icon):

Up voted, that would be great

It’d also be good if Plexamp reported media playback to Windows, so controls are present on the lock screen, and on Windows 11’s quick actions menu.

Windows support is kind of wanting, right now.

Yes, I would also really love this functionality in Plexamp.

I always found it strange that Plex for Windows did not implement this but there I did not really care because most of the time I have Plex for Windows open in the foreground when I use it (but not always so I would still like this functionality in Plex for Windows). This is not the case with Plexamp which I mostly use in the background.

It’s worth noting that this works (most of the time) on Linux, using MPRIS. (MPRIS - ArchWiki)

+1 (sorry, i’m out of votes). Also please note JRiver has controls there too. Also note that JRiver shows what’s playing!

Three years and no movement on this basic UI “feature”?
