New Rasplex only sends stereo for all media

Hi All,

 

I have just setup my Pi Version B running -RC4 and everything seems to be working perfectly except the sound is only stereo. I have Marantz Amp 6003. This same surround setup works fine running plex home theatre or through my WDlive.

 

Any ideas?

Have you set up the Audio settings in Preferences->Change Preferences For System->Audio output. You need to set output channels and DTS/DD.

Hi Ned,

You were spot on!

I just found those settings and changed them and now all my media is sending surround audio to the Amp.
