Hi,
I recently rebuilt my plex server and I got rid of the old one. Now, when I am watching plex whether from my Shield TV or the Web, the Home page just brings me to a generic page with “My Headlines” and recommendations instead of directly to my server so I can see what is on deck and recently added. Then I have to go over and pick which channel I want to watch.
How can I make it so that when I load Plex it just brings me directly to my server?
You maybe having the same problem as others. Shield tv client app weird connection issues
Thank you but it isn’t that. It isn’t happening to more than just my Shield and it isn’t a connectivity problem.
In the past, if I logged into plex whether on an device or web, it would just show my server with all my libraries. But it just showing a generic homepage now. I noticed if I go to the edit section for the home page I can click “Reset Customization” (same as the suggestion in that thread you linked) Then it will let me pick my server as my homepage and thats great! But the problem is this, the next time I create libraries I will have to do this again.
I enjoy making libraries for my family members, like during Christmas I like to create a Christmas folder for holiday related movies. When I create that, I have to go over and pin the new library for it to show on left, where as in the past it would just automatically show it on the left. I just don’t know if that is to be expected or if I did something incorrectly.
