New shows and movies aren't showing up anymore

New shows and movies aren’t showing up anymore, I haven’t changed anything and all the old stuff works just fine.
I did just update to the latest plex: Version 1.23.3.4707
Running on Ubuntu 20.04.2
I have also ran manual library “scan files”
Attaching logs, would love some help please!

According to your logs, Plex seems not to find the connected drives during the scan…

While some other drives appear to be recognized just fine:

/home/plex-box/Desktop/plex-media
   /Movies
   /Other_Videos
/secondary
   /Anime
   /Anime_Movies
   /TV_Shows

Are the new shows/movies exclusively on the not available drives?
This looks inconsistent… assuming you’re mounting that /secondary drive just ones (vs. each subfolder pointing to its own drive).

3 posts were split to a new topic: Problems with Plex not recognizing new files

No those drives are the only locations. The machine only has 2 drives.

sda 8:0 0 465.8G 0 disk
├─sda1 8:1 0 512M 0 part /boot/efi
└─sda2 8:2 0 465.3G 0 part
├─vgubuntu-root 253:0 0 464.3G 0 lvm /
└─vgubuntu-swap_1 253:1 0 980M 0 lvm [SWAP]
sdb 8:16 0 931.5G 0 disk
└─sdb1 8:17 0 931.5G 0 part /secondary

I have the same folder structure in both of those locations but not each have things in them for example:
plex-box@plexbox:~/Desktop/plex-media$ pwd
/home/plex-box/Desktop/plex-media
plex-box@plexbox:~/Desktop/plex-media$ ls -al
total 28
drwxrwxr-x 7 plex-box plex-box 4096 Feb 27 14:20 .
drwxr-xr-x 3 plex-box plex-box 4096 Feb 26 19:42 …
drwxrwxr-x 2 plex-box plex-box 4096 Feb 27 00:18 Anime
drwxrwxr-x 2 plex-box plex-box 4096 Feb 27 14:20 Anime_Movies
drwxrwxr-x 2 plex-box plex-box 4096 May 29 19:06 Movies
drwxrwxr-x 2 plex-box plex-box 4096 Jan 17 15:46 Other_Videos
drwxrwxr-x 2 plex-box plex-box 4096 Feb 26 19:43 TV_Shows

AND

plex-box@plexbox:/secondary$ pwd
/secondary
plex-box@plexbox:/secondary$ ls -al
total 32
drwxr-xr-x 8 plex-box plex-box 4096 Feb 27 00:23 .
drwxr-xr-x 21 root root 4096 Feb 26 19:51 …
drwxrwxr-x 16 plex-box plex-box 4096 Apr 24 21:04 Anime
drwxrwxr-x 2 plex-box plex-box 4096 Feb 26 23:45 Anime_Movies
drwxrwxr-x 2 plex-box plex-box 4096 Feb 26 19:53 Movies
drwxrwxr-x 2 plex-box plex-box 4096 Feb 26 19:53 Other_Videos
drwx------ 5 plex-box plex-box 4096 Feb 27 00:18 .Trash-1000
drwxrwxr-x 12 plex-box plex-box 4096 Jun 28 17:42 TV_Shows

In /home/plex-box/Desktop/plex-media/Anime/ that folder is empty
In /secondary/Anime that folder has Anime in it.

Basically I have the same structure for my ease of use. And I just use which ever drive has space in it.

But here is the latest example:

plex-box@plexbox:/secondary/TV_Shows/Rick_and_Morty$ pwd
/secondary/TV_Shows/Rick_and_Morty
plex-box@plexbox:/secondary/TV_Shows/Rick_and_Morty$ ls -al
total 815236
drwxrwxr-x 2 plex-box plex-box 4096 Jun 28 17:43 .
drwxrwxr-x 12 plex-box plex-box 4096 Jun 28 17:42 …
-rwx------ 1 plex-box plex-box 834785626 Jun 28 17:45 ‘Rick and Morty - 5x02 - Mortyplicity.mkv’

That Rick and Morty episode isn’t showing up but like you said you can see that /secondary/TV_Shows is working.

The Rick and Morty episode appears to be a permission issue (unless plex-box is the Linux user of your Plex Media Server → default: plex)

facepalm I did a scp from another machine and it obviously didn’t keep permissions. Haha, thanks! I’ll have to turn in my Linux admin badge.
