New to plex, teething problems

Hi all, hope you are all well.
Ive just downloaded plex on my wd mycloud and seem to be having some teething problems, for the time being I want to get things working just over a local connection so I have turned off remote access. When I try and connect either via my imac or xbox one it says it can’t get a secure connection and I have to allow an insecure connection. Can anyone help?

try turning off secure connection required.

Thanks for the reply :slight_smile: I’ve done that at the moment, what I’m worried about is when I do turn on remote access would this mean my xbox would just stream everything rather than play it over local? Thanks :slight_smile:

To expand - When you turn on Remote Access, this just allows you to connect remotely when away from your home. Inside your home it does not “stream” anything, everything is played locally, across your LAN only.
