I have a PC dedicated to running the PLEX server and it was running fine all along. Recently it stopped running. After I rebooted the PC, it terminated with a small window that just says ERROR. I launched it again and got the same error. I reinstalled PLEX Server with the latest version of the server, but it still fails exactly the same way. I have not done anything to this PC. Any ideas?
Put this in the search bar on Windows
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Plex Media Server
Zip up the log folder and drop it here
That took me to “C:\Users\nanow\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server”. Surprised to find everything dated back to 2018. Here is the ZIP of the log folder.

I setup this PC so long ago that I have forgotten how I did it. Looks like I had mapped this folder over to the D drive and somehow my D drive has disappeared. Doesn’t show up in File Explorer or even Disk Manager. Restart did not bring it back. I had to unplug the power to the PC to get it to come back. Once it is back, PLEX server is all OK again. This is really strange. Probably happened in one of those power outages. But thank you for the help.
got the exact same issue. tried several time to uninstall/reinstall plex with no luck still get the same error. this is after building a new pc and moving my collection to a bigger harddrive
