Newly added movies don't seem to have their metadata loaded despite being added

After upgrading to this PMS version, adding new movies exhibits a strange situation…

During the overnight automatic scans (setting is every 6 hours), the movies I’ve added DO show up, but… The “posters” showing in “recently added movies” look like an unmatched movie… Clicking on the movie title brings up the movie’s page and often has no metadata (sometimes it does), OR it doesn’t even bring up the movie’s page giving an error that “something went wrong” and I have to try again.

SO, I have to “refresh metadata” for all the movies added and found by the overnight scan.

Help please?

Hmmmm… I thought it was just newly added movies, but I went to a newly added episode of a TV Show (I added several episodes) and none of the added episodes (all one show) had their metadata there either…

So, it seems to be Movies AND TV Shows

For TV shows, I have to “refersh metadata” for the entire show – doing this for just the one episode doesn’t work.

For TV Shows and Movies, scanning the library they seem to be “in the library”, but there’s NO metadata (and thus no “poster” image either).

Help please…

I’m running into same thing but oddly it’s just for tv. They get added to plex and they’ll be in the library’s but listed as ‘episode 10’. No episode name and most importantly, no air date so they don’t show in ‘newly released tv’

Edit- this is a new occurrence as an fyi. I’d say last month episodes don’t have metadata assigned and I have to manually refresh the series.

Would probably need the server logs covering the time of the initial scan when it should have gotten metadata.
