No Access on NFS Media

Server Version#: Version 1.40.3.8555
Player Version#:

I’m getting desperate right now…
I have 2 Synology NAS and I share a folder for Plex media as an NFS folder on the 2nd one.
The NFS sharing works so far… I have the folder available on the Plex NAS, when I access it via Webdav, I can see the subdirectories, folders and files and can access them.

The access rights on the PlexNas are set to R/W for Plexmediaserver
Convert to Windows ACL is grayed out on both NAS so I can no longer click on it.
And despite everything, when I click on Plex, add media library, I get the shared folder displayed, but no subfolders.
And when I go to the media library, the folder is empty…

WHERE else can I look… I can’t think of anything else
Directory access rights set
Plexmediaserver (internal user) access set R/W
NFS activated (it works)
No idea what else

Runs on DSM 7, both NAS

DSM 7 NFS is a little different (strict)

On the NAS containing the media,

FileStation → highlight the shared folder → Properties → Permissions tab

ADD “Everyone”

Apply to this folder, sub-folders, and files

SAVE

Caution: Don’t try to share contents of “Homes”. “Homes” is private and not shareable across usernames.

We do this because “PlexMediaServer” doesn’t exist on the other NAS.
