Synology - Plex does not access shared folder

I have Plex on a 920+ to which I have mounted a NFS shared folder with TV shows from a 918+ on the local network. File Station on the 920+ properly reads the shared folder. I have added the shared folder to the Plex library but Plex is not reading it (Plex has that the folder is empty but it has four test shows). Any thoughts of what I should do to fix this? Thanks for any help.

On the DS920+,

  • Make certain PlexMediaServer minimally has Read access to the mount point and the shared folder it’s in.

On the DS918+,

  • Export shared folder, and ‘all sub-folders and files’ to allow Everyone read access.
