No access to Plex on windows server after wake up from sleep

Server Version#: 1.32.5.7349
Player Version#: every

I have this problem for a long time now but now it get’s to annoying:
My plex is running on a windows 10 pc (used as a “server” in local home network). The pc goes to sleep after 20 minutes of idle. I can wake it using WOL.

The problem:
Often tying to access plex from a client (from within the local network or remote) doesn’t work, throwing “no access rights” errors or going into time outs. When I check the plex instance on the server, everything seems to work fine. No problems accessing plex on that machine using local host. When I stop the plex server and restart it, the clients can access that plex server immediately.

I do have other server software running on the machine, which doesn’t have any issues with resuming from sleep mode, so it doesn’t seem to be a problem of the server’s network settings but only of the plex-server instance.

Windows and plex (both server and all clients) are up to date, as well as all drivers of that pc.

Any clue on what to do or where to look would be highly appreciated! :o)
