So I just upgraded to Plex Pass because I wanted the premium music library. Unfortunately I am not getting the features promised. I am getting the lyrics and concert info but am no getting any album reviews or any expanded bios. I am not getting them for any artists or albums whatsoever. I have tried everything I can think of to remedy this and have searched the forums extensively. Does anyone else have the same problem or know how to fix this? Or do these advertised features not actually work?
Did you actually create a new music library?
Yep. Tried remaking it multiple times as well.
Try this first:
Settings - Server - Network - ‘IPv6’ <-- DISABLE
Settings - Server - General - ‘Show Advanced’ - Debug Logging Enable
Then stop and restart Plex Server
Try again.
Nope didn’t help.
As far as I can tell all the features associated with Gracenote seem to be the problem.
It is time for server logs
- activate debug logging (not ‘verbose’!)
- quit Plex Server
- wait 1 minute
- start Plex Server
- wait 3 minutes
- create a Premium music library (or at least try to. You can have several of these, so if you already have one, there is no need to delete it!)
- wait 3 minutes
- fetch log files and attach them here
