No data for TV Miniseries in Movie Library?

I’ve re-imported my entire library onto a new server following a hard drive crash. I’m going through and fixing data issues, and I’ve noticed that none of the TV Miniseries which are in my movie library are able to fetch metadata: Salem’s Lot, Lonesome Dove, The Shining, etc. Single-part TV Movies seem to be fine, but multi-part TV Miniseries can’t find a match in either Plex Movie Agent or TMDb. I’m pretty sure this wasn’t problem before, as I haven’t moved the locations of these media.

I’ve seen some other posts struggling with TV series data; is this related? Or am I supposed to stick miniseries in with TV Series now?

Yes.

Miniseries have been removed from the “movie” section of TheMovieDB. They are only allowed in the “series” section now.
That’s why you don’t get a match in a “movie” library anymore.

You also don’t always get a match in a TV library where everything is named correctly.

But if the Plex Agent supposedly uses multiple sources to find matches, shouldn’t it still be able to pull info from IMDb or even different parts of TMDb? Seems like this should be a trivial distinction to override as the line between movies and TV becomes fuzzier and fuzzier.
