Not able to Match Metadata

I recently replaced my boot drive for Plex and reinstalled PMS to the newest version on an update to date Windows 10. When letting the server match the movies it found most but there was a few that I had to manually correct. This has worked for all but 2 movies and no matter how i name the file or search in the Match option it will not fine the movie in question. I was able to link the movies in the past when I first added them to the server.

No matter how I name the file or search Plex will not locate the metadata for this movie. This happens when searching with the Plex agent and TheMovieDatabase. I have been able to locate the movie on both sites related to the respective agents but I am still not able to get it to link.

It’s a Mini-Series. Plex Movie don’t do TV Mini-Series - and neither does TMDB (an unfortunate, and recent turn of events, to be sure…):

Your options are few:

1. Make it a TV Show Mini-Series.
2. Pull down the Agent Menu in your Search Box and Select Personal Media - then hand edit it the way you want it.

Was something changes with how the Agents handle these? As in the past there was no issue linking this to the correct metadata.

It’s a Mini-Series. Plex Movie don’t do TV Mini-Series - and neither does TMDB (an unfortunate, and recent turn of events, to be sure…):

TMDB changed the game.
New rules.
