No direct Connection to Server when on Same Network and using Windows

Hey,

When i want to stream media over my Plex Server i have an direct Connection all the time, except when im on the local network AND using Windows. On my Local Network i have a direct connection when i’m streaming with my Phone (Android), Chromecast works aswell. Streaming over Windows outside my Network works also fine (Direct Connection).

Any ideas what the problem could be?

Forgot to say that… I also tried turning off the Windows Firewall on all devices server side and streaming side.

DNS rebinding protection in your router, or a slow/bad DNS in general.

Set the DNS server in your router to that of Google. (8.8.8.8)
If you don’t have access to your router configuration, override your router’s DNS in the network settings of the client computer.
