On my iPhone app there isn’t even a download button for me to download movies to watch offline

What kind of content are you trying to download – some media of your own library, a shared library or one of the movies/shows of Plex’ video-on-demand service?

  • You cannot download content from any of the online media sources (e.g. Live TV Streaming or Movies & Shows on Plex)
  • You can only download content from a shared library, if the server owner has granted that permission to you
