No Extras on Movies Added in the Past Month

Almost all movies in my collection have the extras tab in their detail screen, but movies I’ve added in the past month or so, do not have an extras tab (about the past 50 movies I’ve added). They have background image and movie poster, synopsis etc, but no “extras” at all.

I’m running v2.12.6 and still have an active Plexpass account.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you recently switched the primary metadata agent for your movie library over to TheMovieDatabase?
If so, activate ‘Plex Movie’ under
Settings - Server - Agents - Movies - TheMovieDatabase

Thank you for the reply.

I’m not sure how to switch the “primary metadata agent” from one to the other. Seems all the tabs and entries under agents are checked “On” -> Personal Media, Plex Movie, The Movie Database and every check box under each is checked “on”. I have no idea if that’s the way its supposed to be set.

Edit your library, go to the ‘Advanced’ tab, look what is selected under ‘Agent’.

That set to “Plex Movie”

Is the clock time and timezone setting correct on your server? (seriously)

How do your settings look like on the options page of the Plex Movie agent?
Mine look like that:

Please post the Plex XML info of one affected movie.

Mine is set just like that. Here is the XML from one of the movies:

I’ve also confirmed the timezone and time/date are correct.

On the library properties page where the agent settings is, there is a checkbox above ‘Enable Cinema Trailers’.
Is that set?

Have you tried to refresh a single movie?

That is checked “On”. Also, when I hit re-fresh on the same title I copied the XML from above, I get the “Downloading Meta Data…” message, and about 5 seconds later, I get the “Finished processing…” message. But no change in the movie details.

Then I think it is time to look at server logs.
Unfortunately I am not an expert for FreeBSD.
You might want to compare your logs with the issue discussed in this thread https://forums.plex.tv/discussion/comment/1354256/#Comment_1354256

I’m still having this issue. I was wondering if anyone else has any suggestions I could try? Since my original post I am now running 2.13.0

Thanks!
