I’ve looked on http://127.0.0.1:32400/web/index.html on my PC and on the Plex app on my Android phone and I can’t find an extras section when I open any movie (tried 10+ of all different genres).
Any ideas?

First of all, make sure your server is signed in to the same plex.tv account which has the Plex Pass.
Then shut down your Plex server, wait a minute or so then start it up and let it sit for a few minutes.
Go to Settings - Server - Agents - Movies - Plex Movies - then click on the small ‘cog wheel’ icon on the line ‘Plex Movie’ and make sure the checkbox “Find trailers and extras automatically (Plex Pass required)” is filled.
Go further to Settings - Server - Agents - Movies - TheMovieDatabase and make sure the line ‘Plex Movie’ has a checkmark (it does not need to be at the top position though, the checkmark is enough)
Then go to a movie’s preplay page (pick a movie that is internationally well known. If you have ‘Avatar (2009)’ use this because this one definitely has trailers available).
Refresh this movie (again, wait 1 or 2 minutes after clicking refresh).
If you now see some extras appear at the bottom, you can proceed to ‘Refresh’ your whole movie library.
I have restarted my PC and refreshed my Movies library.
Still nothing.
Let’s determine if your server already knows that you have a Plex Pass:
begin to create a new Music library. During the process you are asked if you want to create a Plex Premium music library or a conventional one. If you are not asked which type of music library you want to create, your server doesn’t know you have a Plex Pass yet.
In this case, repeat the first two steps I posted above.
If that still doesn’t change things, please provide the mediainfo XML of this movie.
It asks if I want to create a Plex Premium music library.

This is good so far. The movie is matched with Freebase/Plex Movie so all should be well.
Did you make the agent preference adjustments I mentioned in my first response too?
Could you please make a screenshot of the options of the Plex Movie agent?
mine looks like this:

Don’t worry, we’ll get to the bottom of this.
Do you use any type of Anti Virus on your computer? If so which brand?
Now that you have a “backup” of the settings of your movie agent, try the steps described in this post to reset all movie agents: https://forums.plex.tv/discussion/comment/1230483/#Comment_1230483
I use Windows Defender and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Home (Premium).
I know it’s standard practise to suggest closing them but they’re not the issue.
I reset the two movie agents. Still nothing.

How can you know with such certainty? Sorry, just trying to cover all bases.
Has your AntiMalwareBytes an Anti-Spam or an AntiBanner Module? Try disabling them temporarily.
It is good practice, to instruct Windows Defender not to interfere in the Plex data folder.
I reset the two movie agents. Still nothing.
Have you some advanced firewall in your router? Or some geo-blocking?
After resetting the agents, verify that all the settings mentioned above have been restored.
Then please

Something is weird. The logfile for the Plex Movie Agent should show the matching operation for the movie when you added it back.
But it doesn’t show up anywhere.
Have you waited as indicated between the steps?
Have you performed all steps of the Dance in the right order? Or did you not find where to clean bundles?
Could you repeat the whole procedure with Malwarebytes disabled, just as a temporary test?
Second test: make a completely new ‘movie-test’ folder, somewhere outside of the folders where Plex currently looks for files.
Copy the Avatar movie into it.
Then create a movie-test library within Plex. Use the ‘Plex Movie Scanner’ and the ‘Plex Movie’ agent and point the library to the movie-test folder. Wait 2-3 minutes.
Is there a difference? Are there trailers now?
Do you not have to refresh your library once you have gone premium to download the extras?

When you Plex Dance a movie, the refresh of that movie is included in the process of ‘matching’.
I created a new library with all my movies in it and it’s now working.
However, a massive majority of the extras are 30s-5m in length. Extras on DVDs and Blu-ray Discs are much, much longer. Bit of a cop-out.

I just tried 1 month of Plex Plass because I was very interested in the extras, but like you I found it very dissapointed, most movies doesn’t have and the few that does aren’t really extras… so much for:
“Please note that some movies may not have any extras available. Older or more obscure movies are less likely to have any extras automatically retrieved.” https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/202934883-Cinema-Trailers-Extras
I guess movies like “Finding Nemo” are really old and obscure… and “some movies” would be like 85% without any real extras… I just hope the next guy find this before paying 1 month.
