Player Version#: Samsung Smart TV with plex 2.012
I’m in Austin, power went out for 50 hours and came back. I have no internet but LAN is up. My wireless laptop can connect to the plex server and play stuff but none of the Samsung tvs can.
It shows the tv shows and movies but when I try to play I get unable to connect to the content server. Both tvs are online and I can ping their ip addresses. On one tv I removed the pms and cannot add it back and now when I start plex it says unable to connect to the plex website and I’m stuck at a black screen with three dots flashing and cannot even get to the server screen anymore.
Any tips to get this working? Absolutely nothing has changed on anything, only the power went out and I have no internet.
Thanks for the suggestion. The list of up addresses that are allowed without auth already include both tv ip addresses. I turned on DLNA but the Samsung multimedia app now keeps giving a not online error even thought the ip in the network status page is showing and pingable. We’re just gonna use the laptop to watch shows and hit this when things get back to normal. It’s getting irritating now. At least the laptop works.
