"No Libraries Found" After Password Reset Android

Got the data leak email. Followed it & signed out all devices and reset the password. Got everything up and running server side. Web interface, etc. seems fine. I can see everything.

But, when signing back in on my (android) phone, I’m getting the “No Libraries Found” error message. I’ve cleared app cache several times and uninstalled/reinstalled the app as well. I can see the libraries, but they all have the !triangle & they’re greyed out.

What else can I do or where do I find assistance? Thanks

Try rebooting the Plex server. When it is back online, force quit & relaunch the Plex mobile app (or reboot the phone).

Others have reported this fixed the problem.

Similar problem here, reset pw, logged in on andriod S2 tab but dont even see my server!!

Samsung TV’s have been fine tho’

Just tried Plexamp and that works, sees my music etc, never installed it before today!

So WHY CAN’T THE fekin MAIN APP SEE MY SERVER ? (have uninstalled and re-installed etc)

This makes no sense at all

Is this a android version ‘thing’ ?

old but perfect Tab S2 is on Android V7 - not working,

Just dug out my old Samsung S8+ phone stuck on Android 9 and all is fine!!

Update again

Main app on tab S2 - can not see my server! (UPDATE now working - see my post below for my fix)
Still on tab S2 - On a browser via app.plex.tv/desktop - can see libraries but with yellow triangle - not accessible.
Still on tab S2 - On a browser via local 192.168.x.xxx:port number - all working fine !!
Still on tab S2 - On a browser via public IP xx.xxx.xx.x:port number - all working fine !!

Please make it make sense !!

All I did was change a feckin password as requested ;-(

Oh, server is running on my main desktop - Linux Mint btw.

@Roderz Make sure you are running PMS v1.42.1 or later. See Plex Media Server - Security Update - #3 by PlexInfo.

Already installed PMS v1.42.1 beginning of this week, and rebooted multiple times trying to sort this prob ;-(

Same problem here. They get hacked and tell us to follow a process and then everything stops working.

Also, I skipped the last server version before they sent that email suggesting we migrate to it. There is no way to update your plex server once you skip a version, even if the update is critical. No undo, no checkbox, no override, nothing. The only way, that I didn’t want to bother trying again, due to a bad experience last time, is download the Plex server package and update it that way.

I am really starting to hate Plex (the software), that and the fact that there is no support, the only support is by the great community on here, if Plex loses the community, they got nothing.

Anyway, sorry everyone that I vented, but jeesh I am exhausted by all this.

UPDATE:

finally got got my libraries to show up in app !

BUT had to uninstall the ““new experience”” app and install the old one !!
