Unable to Access Libraries, from Android Apps, After Password Reset

I recently received an e-mail from what appeared to be Plex support, asking me to change my password (for security reasons):

After performing the password reset, and logging back in on all devices, I am able to access my Plex server/Libraries from all devices…

except for on Android (through the Plex/PlexAmp apps). When attempting to access my Libraries through the Android apps, the Libraries appear offline. But this issue is not present when accessing the same Libraries through a mobile browser – on the same device.

Clearing app cache/data, reinstalling the apps, and rebooting the affected client(s) did not help. I’m currently testing this on LAN, not over the Internet. My media server is sitting behind a reverse proxy. Is this not supported?

I’m not sure how to proceed.

P.S., For [Player Version#] , I listed the mobile app version. Is this incorrect?

Server Version#: 4.147.1
Player Version#: 2025.24.0 (966828479)

After restarting the Plex server, I was able to get back in through the Android apps.

Not for me. I’ve restarted everything, cleared cache - data. No luck. The Plex app on my Shield still doesn’t see my server.

Finally! I had to force-stop the app on my phone, restart the server, log back into the app and finally it could see my libraries. Not very well planned for something as simple as a password change!

Restarting the Server did it for me. Everything else failed including deleting app, clearing cache and database etc
