No matches found - after update to PlexPass - FreeNAS

Hi!

I recently bought PlexPass and I have a lot of issues with update to PlexPass version of PMS on my FreeNAS server.

Firstly I backuped “Plex Media Server” folder on old non PlexPass PMS and zip it with WinRAR. After that I installed PlexPass version and extracted “Plex Media Server.zip” in good directory with replace file function. Everything worked as I wanted, I got all off my Custom Metadata back on with PlexPass, but after this hole update PMS can’t find metadata to new movies, TV shows.

I think I messed up something with “Plex Media Server” Folder, but I don’t know what :frowning:
Is there any better way to update to PMS PlexPass without loosing custom metadata?

Server Version#:1.20.0.3133
Player Version#: 1.17.0.1376-439f8b7f

The Plex Pass PMS app is exactly the same as the non-Plex-Pass app.

Plex Pass gives you extra functionality, but the “Plex Pass download” is actually their beta channel. For some bizarre reason, Plex seem to think that you’d like to pay to beta-test for them.

Recover your original PMS back to your original version if you can. You can then update to the latest public release which is 1.19.5.3112 if you want.

Actually the only thing that convinced me to buy PlexPass is download feature. I want to watch my High Quality Bluray Rips from my server which is in other house, but my internet upload at the place where server is connected is too slow for this task. Downloading/syncing content seems like only option for me.

Can I have not beta version of PMS with this feature?

Thanks for quick reply!

This feature is available in all versions (unless you go back too far, software version-wise). The availability of the feature is only dependent on the Plex Pass on your account, not on the title (Public vs. Plex Pass) of the downloaded software version.
