No media server found

Hello,

i have PS4 and a PC with PLEX media server on the same network 192.168.1.1/24,

my iPhone see the media server thru wi-fi correctly but my PS4 not.

I have latest firmware on the PS4, and the PC runs a server version 0.9.11.16 for ubuntu

(the latest one I suppose).

I not have any VPN.

My firewall is open, no restrictions on my linux.

My PS4 reaches the PLEX server correctly using the web browser, but not using the app.

I tried to install media server on my NAS (same network) and isn't detected by PS4 in the

same way. Where is the problem ?

Thanks for the attention. sorry for the bad english.

Just something to check fairly quickly - if it is not this, you need to wait for someone who knows about the plex app on PS4

On the server in Media Manager, Settings , Server, General - is it signed in to the plex.tv account ? and is this the same account that the Plex for PlayStation App is signed into

I believe the plex app asks plex.tv where the Plex Media Server is with requests like these:

plex.tv/pms/servers

plex.tv/pms/resources.xml

and the returned xml would give the plex for playstation app the local IP Address of the Plex Media Server - but for this to work, the Plex Media Server needs to be signed in to plex.tv withing the settings page

I did it, now is solved, it works. Thanks. :)
