Can not get the app to work with PS4, continues to say "No Media Servers Found." I have heard that it could be an issue because I use a VPN?? Any knowledge of a work around besides using my assigned IP? Any help would be much appreciated!!
I have the same problem with my PS3. The server is on a new 27 inch iMac. Plex Web and Home Theater work fine on my laptop that is wirelessly connected to the same router that the PS3 is hardwired to. There is obviously some connecting going on because when I input the pin from the PS3 into plex.tv/pin the PS3 recognizes it and says "Loading..." only to then give me the "no media servers found" error, telling me check the server, which it correctly identifies.
Tried rebooting everything, reinstalling Plex, and turning off DHCP on the router that the PS3 is connected to. Would love other suggestions. I have a Plex Pass, as of today.
Thanks.
Fixed. In case this helps anyone, it appears that my problem was that while I was port forwarding UDP, I also needed to port forward TCP (which my router called HTTP).
Then I was able to get the "Server is mapped to port 32400" message in PLEX Settings/Connection and the PS3 found it after entering a new pin.
