With the new update using Plex Movie as scanner and agent, there are several movies that it does not recognize. For example, from the files Kill Bill - Volume 1 (2003) .mkv and Kill Bill - Volume 2 (2004) .mkv only detects the movie Kill Bill: Vol. 1. The same happens with other movies like Lethal Weapon
They are probably combined. Check for duplicates and then split apart and fix match.
For movies like these with multiple similar names I’d recommend using ids to match them. So Kill Bill Vol. 1 (2003) {tmdb-24} and Kill Bill: Vol. 2 (2004) {tmdb-393} as an example for the folder names with the movies then in those folders.

Thanks for the reply. Indeed there were several that were combined and I separated them. For others, I had to remove them from the folder and re-add them for Plex to recognize them correctly.

It’s HIGHLY recommended to put each movie in its own folder. The plex scanner will rescan everything in a folder if it detects a change. So if you have 1,000 files in a flat folder and add 1 to it all 1,001 files will be scanned for changes.
