No Music files show up

Hi,

I use Plex for a year. No issues at all.

Plex Server runs on my Qnap NAS.

Since I deleted PMS and did a reinstall everything runs well, except that the scan for music files runs forever and no music files show up.

Can anybody help?

Do not add it all at once. PMS has trouble if a lot of music files are ‘dumped’ in at once.

A good structure to use is:

/Music/A
/Music/B
etc

Then, when you create the music library, first add /Music/A.
After it completes, Optimize the database
Now edit the library and add /Music/B
Repeat this until all music has been added

Unfortunaly this didn’t solve my issue.
Still the same results, no music files…
