Ok, I think I’m set now. This seems to have been the resolution to this for me:
- I updated the OS to the latest version of Windows and removed all existing Nvidia drivers.
- On Windows 10 1903 with the basic driver, it still didn’t work. (Windows Update didn’t offer any newer driver)
- I updated the driver to the latest WHQL from Nvidia (clean installation) and it started working. Woo hoo.
I had installed that same driver under the prior Windows version, and it didn’t work. No idea why it worked the second time, but here we are.
In a related note, I realized that Tautulli was not properly reflecting the hardware acceleration status, which also threw me for a loop during testing. I wrote that up separately. Thanks for everyone’s help!
