I have chosen a movie to watch offline, selected a subtitle and downloaded the movie, but when the movie is downloaded and I go offline the option to choose a subtitle is gone. This problem occurred some previous versions back but is now here again.
I have Plex 5.18 for iOS and just noticed the same issue.
I synced two TV show episodes before leaving home so I could watch them offline. When I launch Plex, I have the possibility to select the subtitles, but they do not show when playing the episodes.
Before leaving, I just chose to sync to the iPad. I don’t really understand how I could have done this differently?
Did I do this wrong, or is it the Plex 5.18 that is buggy?
The subtitles need to get selected/activated before starting the Sync process. Only then will they get included/burned in.

English subtitles are always enabled by default on my system. Still, no subtitles when playing the episode, but I could select between two subtitles on iPad (that apparently weren’t working).
If selecting a subtitle prior to syncing is not enough, how do I enable/activate a subtitle? Apparently I’m doing it wrong

If you read my initial post, that is exactly what I have done. I know how it’s done, that is why I noticed it doesn’t work any longer.
Latest update:
I have network connection again and tried syncing and no problem showing subtitles with same version of Plex for iOS.
So I probably did something wrong the first time.
