I am using Plex on my PS4 (client) and Synology NAS (server) and upgraded my AV-System (using a Marantz SR7013-Receiver) to Atmos. Only getting stereo sound is a desaster. How can I reastablish passthrough?

The PS4 cannot passthrough ATMOS.
Thanks for your fast reply… but I get only stereo… no Dolby, DTS or anything else (btw. the PS 4 does not have to be able to do atmos… it -meaning plex- shall just pass it through to the Marantz Receiver)
Look in the app settings under audio. If your receiver suports multi-channel AC3 or DTS, enable that check box and PMS will transcode your TrueHD appropriately.
Being able to passthrough a specific codec still requires some sort of support on the device.
Hmmm… in the Plex App (on PS4) there is no option like that (maybe somehing like EAC-3… dont quiete remember and I am not at home to take look).
Whatever option I activate the receiver only gets Stereo…
I just checked with the team and there is a known issue with the latest app. We are working with Sony to get it resolved.
Perfect. So there is hope 
Any information (educated guess) when it will be solved?
