No Plex Library Sections Available

  • Your ATV model (2 or 3) and firmware version (found under the ATV settings > general > about > Apple TV software):  ATV 3; 6.2

  • The DNS server set on the ATV (found under the ATV settings > general > network > DNS):  10.0.1.2

  • The local IP address of the device that PlexConnect is installed on:  10.0.1.2

  • The device and operating system (including version number) that PlexConnect is installed on:  Win7 Service Pack 1

  • The device and operating system (including version number) that the Plex media server (PMS) is installed on:  Win7 Service Pack 1

  • The Plex media server (PMS) version number you are running (do not put 'latest'):  0.9.11.4.739-a4e710f

  • The local IP address of the device that the Plex media server (PMS) is installed on:  10.0.1.2

  • The PlexConnect version number. If using Github source then a time and date of download (look at the creation date of the folder) and if you are using any non-standard setup e.g. Plexify or a fork.  0.3

  • The contents of your 'Settings.cfg' file (this is created at first clean shutdown of PlexConnect, using CTR+c

With the recent update to my media server on windows I can no longer access Plex!

I cannot see any of the local files on the server nor can I log into Plex with my user name and password.  The web interface on the same PC works fine.  

I did setup users and pins with the new server.

Have you enabled Plex home?

Since I have been using PlexConnect successfully in the past I'll have to say yes - I had been able to view my local or home media files.  But just in case, where do you enable it?

Plex Home the new multi user feature of PMS (I have not enabled it because there is an update to Plexconnect t support it I don’t want to break Plexconnect)

Ah, then yes.  This is what I suspect has broken my PlexConnect.  I have added user etc.

Ok, so I clicked on the "Leave Home" icon to remove all users and PlexConnect started working again.  

So, you can be using the latest version of the server but do not enable to new Plex Home option.

Trying to find the 'leave home' icon sigh - I must be blind....

Also, above eludes you can update plexconnect to latest and it's supported - however It could be read to mean different, would be good to clarify for completeness.

Found leave home icon - a restart of the app brought it back - it was actually missing!
