I am having a serious issue with remote access to my Plex server anytime an upgrade is released, which seems to be happening more often as of late. Anytime a new release is available I simply cannot access my Plex library remotely until I install the upgrade. Since my linux server that Plex is running on isn’t remotely accessible, I can’t do anything about it while I’m out of town.
Is there some override within the configuration files to override this very frustrating behavior? If not then having remote access (one of the most important features of having a Plex Pass) is pretty much worthless.
