No Server Found

Server is a MacBook Pro running OS 10.12.1 with Plex Media Server installed and running
Device is a new XBox One with Plex app installed
After signing into the XBox and attempting to connect with the signed on server, I get an error message that reads “No Server Found…Unable to locate any servers”

I printed off the XML file if anyone is interested.

I just want to confirm…

You are logged in both the MacBook Pro server and the Xbox One Client?

If so, might want to check your fire wall settings and make sure your ports are set on your router and MacBook.

Thanks for the response. Do you have any idea what the firewall settings should be set to, and what the ports should be set to on the router and the MacBook?

TCP 32400. But you can simply add the app in MacOS. System Preferences | Security | Firewall.

I just noticed that when I launch the XBox app to sync up with the server, but before I get the error message that “No Server Found”, there is a brief message at the top of the app that reads “No Server Selected”. Could that be part of the problem?

Did you already allow the server app in the MacOS Firewall? Do you have another Mac?
