Xbox One app can't see friend's server

I have a friend sharing his Plex server with me. I can access his library on my PC through the Windows app and also through the web app, but when I try to connect with my Xbox app, it says the server is currently unavailable. My Xbox and my PC are on the same network so both have the same firewall rules. In addition, I’m running my own server and he can see mine with no issues. Anyone have any thoughts on why only my Xbox can’t access his server?
