Hi folks.
I have the Plex app on my LG TV. I play one film that has ac3 audio but no sound comes out of the speakers. All other files work fine. The film in question plays with audio on iPad app (which does after 15 minutes but that is a separate issue already in the iOS forum). Does anyone have any ideas on how to get this sound playing properly on the TV app?

Are you using the official Plex app? The one that requires a Plex Pass? Usually users of the official Plex app still have a Plex Pass badge under their use avatar.
Have you enabled AC3 audio in the TV app?
I’m unsure if the file for the film in question is entirely stable. If you’re having problems on multiple devices there may be something off with the file itself.
I searched for Plex on my lg TV and the only one that came up was Playz Media which claims to be for Plex. All other films work no matter which audio but it was just that one film. Have now got the 1080p version of the film which has been playing like a dream. Just found it weird that the 720p played without audio :/. Thank you for your reply.
With the iPad iOS version, many people are complaining about it shutting down after 15 minutes of play, so I’m thinking that is a bug in the iOS version of the Plex app. Will wait for an update on that one
