Hi,
I have been using Plex media server and the chrome cast for a while now.
But since a few weeks i tried to play videos with sound encoded in E-AC3 and i have a major issue.
Basicaly when casting it to the chromecast, the video will play fine but there will be no sound.
If i play directly on my computer (either with plex or other players) it plays with sound correctly.
So for now, every time i have a video with E-AC3 sound i pass it through handbrake to change the sound encoding. It works, but it’s a bit cumbersome.
Is there a way to fix it ?
I’m using the free version of plex.
