Strange Web Interface behaviour

Hello Forum

I am hoping someone may have seen this before but I am a little confused as to what might be causing my problem. In a nutshell, when I log in to the web interface on my plex server from my PC, I can get to the home screen, see my librarys, just added etc but when I click any of the library’s, it wont show anything, it seems to change the page and then drop back to the plex landing page. If I login to the server and try it locally, all is fine, so it would point to something on my PC but I dont know what! If I remove the browser on my authorised devices, hey presto, it works but only once, then the same thing starts again. Its really odd and I am looking for any advice. My apple TV’s work fine, App is good, TV App is good, everything but not on my PC, so it must be something local to it. To then make sure I wasnt going mad, I then tried it through a different browser and that seemed to work as well, so now I have it down to I think my browser of choice - Chrome. Has anyone else seen this? I have reinstalled Chrome and it made no difference, same issue. I am reasonably tech savvy but this one has got me! Any help or thoughts much appreciated

Are you using app.plex.tv ?
If not, try it.

same issue here, seems to have cropped up in the last Version 1.15.3.876. what i have noticed is if im playing something on my appletv, and try to connect with my browser at the same time this seems to happen.

No issue with Chrome here on MacOS 10.14.4

But using PMS Version 1.15.4.919

server wasn’t reporting an update being available. just checked plex.tv and there is. gonna update and see what happens.

Great shout, that works with no issue. That my work around, but I would still love to know whats causing it… glad I am not alone @Mdhwoods1

Same here, the only difference is Windows 10, load it on the local host on the PMS (Mac Mini running 10.14.3) no issues, try the same on my desktop, problem reoccurs… odd

Same here. At first I was a little perplexed as it asked me to select which home user to use (something I have it set to bypass). It then tries telling me I don’t have access to my server when I try to access settings.

I logged out and back in and it worked, but as others have said only once. It’s now back to not letting me do anything.

Other applications work (PMP and PlexAmp on the same Windows 10 client PC, Plex app on my Samsung TV, Plex on Android casting to Chromecasts). Guessing the bug is with the Web App shipped with latest PMS?

Running PMS 1.15.3.876 on Windows Server 2012 R2.

The only update available I’m seeing on the site is the beta channel update. I could download that but I like to stick to the public release channel.

Well I am glad I am not alone on this one! Using the shortcut @OttoKerner suggested works, which would then point to it not being a browser issue as its basically rendering the same thing but a different source, but its got me and I have seen the similar issues @DeanKellham has got where you click the status links or almost anything bar library’s and you get a “no soup for you” message and then you cant get back to your server. Its annoying at the moment as their is a work around, but I hope Plex fix it soon. Even with this, wouldn’t be without it, still a first class product!

**** Update - Since the last update couple of days ago, taking me to version 1.15.4.993 the old method now seems to work, will keep monitoring
