No Soup for you Message

Help Please! I don’t have the issue in this thread but this is my first time using these very confusing forums and could not figure out where to post. I am using Safari 15.0 on a 27 inch iMac with macOS Big Sur 11.6. Up until a week ago the Plex server on the Mac was fine and the Media Player own the Mac and my AppleTVs could see my media via the Mac just fine. Now when I click on “TV Shows” or “Movies” in the Player is says “No Soup for You! You do Not Have Access to This Server”. and when I click on the server app it only shows web media on the left hand side with no ability to to find/add my media back. No ability to “log onto my Mac server”

Please help.

That is usually a case of signing into the wrong account. When you click on More on the bottom of left side bar does it list the servers and libraries?

which URL are you using to access?

There is no “More” button at the bottom. When I click on the Server App button on my Mac it it taking me to the Web App pages and I don’t think it used to do that.

Do you have more than one account on your Mac? (I don’t mean Plex account but the actual computer accounts)

I do, but I know I am logged into my account (not my wife’s). And I only have one Plex account.

Using the Finder’s “Go” menu, select Go To Folder… then enter the following in the dialog box that pops up:

~/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/

in that folder open up Plugin-Support then Databases . Are there files in them that are older than when you first ran into issue?

There are is at least one “com.plexapp.plugins/library.bolbs.db” , one “com.plexapp.plugins.library.db” created dates from 2020, but both modified today. there is one ending in db-shm and db-wal from October 3, which may have be before my problem. I wnent into Plex today (and had the problem) but it may have been late September when I was last in there.

OK can I see your server logs

I had to manually create this. There is no button under Settings\Manage\Troubleshooting because there is no "manage under settings:

@thefatwookie can you please restart your server if still having issue. looks like this might have been something on our end.
