No soup for you!

Server Version#: 1.20.3
Player Version#: ?
QNAP ts-451deu-2g

Hi,

Somehow after a recent update i started getting the No soup for you error message.

I tried removing the server from the app center and reinstalling using latest package, but the error persists.

I’ve tried reading all the QNAP FAQ’s as well as the forum for this error message, but none of the apparent fixes seem to help.

Can anyone point me in the right direction so i can get back on the plex-sauce please? Would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Have you checked the folders defined in your media-libaries? As far as I know there is a bug in the latest Multimedia-Station Update on QNAP directly interfering with plex.

Where have you stored your Media-Files? Hopefully not in the Multimedia-folder provided by default.

Hello Holger,

Thank you for your reply.

I can’t get access to the server, so i can’t define the media libraries. Was this what you meant?

I used to have several different folders for my media. But i’ve removed the previous install of Plex, in an attempt to “restart” the process. So now i’m just trying to gain access to the PMS. See below:

I was accessing my NAS via the WAN IP. It worked perfectly when i accessed the PMS web interface via the LAN interface
