I get a message that says “there was an unexpected error” when I try to go to Tidal, or any online content in the column on the left on the plex web app. I also cannot access Tidal on any other of my devices! It worked just fine yesterday, then all of the sudden, POOF! gone. I can access Tidal just fine when I go directly to their app or site, so its not a problem with them. I am SO disappointed, I was really loving the new setup, but if I can’t get it to work, I’m going to have to cancel it…anybody have any ideas?
- Make sure to use the ‘hosted’ web app https://app.plex.tv/desktop
- Disable web browser add-ins which filter out or suppress parts of web pages like AdBlock, NoScript, uBlock, Privacy_this, Privacy_that etc.
- Did you switch your Tidal playback quality from Standard to Master Quality or vice versa? If you did, you might have to re-authorise your Tidal account https://plex.tv/users/other-services
Sorry, note of that worked. Tidal suddenly reappeared on my laptop (for NO apparent reason) which has its own server, but on my main computer which uses NAS for the plex media server, still no dice! I tried all of the things you suggested…
Could you give some more details about yoru configuration, please?
Where is Plex server actually installed? On your main computer or directly on the NAS?
What type of NAS?
Which type of Plex client are you using on your main computer?
