No UNMATCH option!?

I updated my TV media agent yesterday, and today I see it’s incorrectly matched a bunch of previously unmatched files. It’s doubly annoying, in-that, not only is my library becoming littered with incorrect entries, but some are matches that coincide with existing/CORRECT entries. I could ignore the obviously bogus entries, but my library is slowly degrading into Russian roulette options- with legitimate options being hit-or-miss…Will today’s selection point toward the real thing, or some random documentary the new media agent has mistakenly assigned. And I can’t for the life of me, find a way to UNMATCH these entries! I hope I’m missing something, here. I’d MUCH RATHER have entries w/o a description but showing a valid filename- for those things that simply will never match…rather than a fully automated mess.

I would split them apart at the show level, then unmatch at the show level. Matching is not done at the episode level.

Agreed. You can also view your TV show library by episodes and filter on duplicates to see how they’re being mis-identified (so you know which shows to split), if they are:

I don’t understand, dbirch. In some cases, the SHOW is correct, but littered with incorrectly chosen duplicates of the episodes. Is there no way to simply blacklist the files that are un-matchable? This thing’s behaving like a mad OCD wife cleaning house…everything’s going SOMEWHERE, even if it’s wrong!

Thats because two folders where combined into 1 show, if you split the show apart the folders should separate, allowing you to fix the incorrect one. Otherwise I would look at your file naming as that is the other probable cause.
