No "Match" of "Fix Match" option in TV shows section

Sometimes new media can’t be matched (however exists in DB), and finally gets to a state when no “match” or “fix match” option present in menu:

Went through several similar topics, but didn’t found exactly the same behavior reported.

Match is on TV Show level and you’re clicking on a episode

Actually he isn’t. This is the top level of the show.

Check your web browser add-ins. Disable them all for a test or try to use a different web browser or use an “incognito”/“privacy” window/tab.

I see. I got confused by the On Deck thing

Reproduced the issue on following browsers:

  • Firefox (incl incognito mode)
  • Edge (with extensions disabled)
  • Chrome (with extensions disabled)
    Meanwhile updated server to the latest 1.23.1.4528 version without improvement.

Check your server database for damage:

  1. activate debug logging (not ‘verbose’!)
  2. quit Plex Server
  3. wait 1 minute
  4. start Plex Server
  5. wait 5 minutes
  6. fetch log files and attach them here

Or inspect them yourself. Take a look at the Plex Media Server.log file and seek for messages about database corrupt or malformed.
If you find these, you may have to repair your database.

Hm, logs are not conclusive.
Are you habitually refreshing all libraries at once? I see messages about updating a tv show and photos at the same time, which is kinda puzzling.

Are there other (successfully matched) tv shows in this library?
When you this library, on the “Advanced” tab, what is selected as the Agent? (don’t change this, yet!)

Actually I’m not refreshing the libraries manually (only recently and only TV shows and Music).
As for the other matches, this item is the only one bugged.

And BTW, I didn’t mention the important thing. Bofore it goes to such a state, It has Match section, but with the blank value, which can not be corrected. So when I choose the option, then it goes to current state irreversibly. Unfortunately I did not snapshot the previous state.

Hm, try this: go to
Settings - Server - Agents - Shows - TheTVDB

Now grab any line with a checkmark and drag it up- or downwards.
Then reverse this action.
This is just intended to “kick the wheels” of the old agent system.

Have you already tried a complete Plex Dance with this show?

Are your files using the mp4/m4v container format?

Grabbing the lines didn’t help.
Plex Dance should clear the action as I remember. But issue re-occurs from time to time, so it really looks like a bug.
For this show container is mkv.

Are you relying on the opensubtitle.org plugin to automatically download subtitles?
Or the Sub-Zero plugin?

Made a plex dance, while migrating TV library agent. Issue fixed now. Hope it was the solution.
