Plex has completely stopped matching movies

Server Version#: 4.41.1

Nutshell: <>

It spins like it’s matching it and I guess it “thinks” it’s matched because the dropdown option says “Fix Match…” but there’s nothing. No name, no summary, no artwork - it truly looks unmatched.

I hate having to type this given how many different users face this issue. Before I start let me explain that I’ve done the Plex Dance. I promise - I skipped nothing. After movie the files out of the library, I even uninstalled and reinstalled the PMS. Before putting the files back in I even AGAIN emptied the trash and cleaned the bundles AGAIN. I disabled server support for IPv6 even though it had been working perfectly for over 3 years.

I’m at a loss.

So - I’ve done the Plex Dance. I’ve made sure that the metadata within each file (under Properties) contains only the Title of the movie - no extraneous poopy data.

Please please help. I’m about to do the dance again and upload the log.

Here’s the log file. BTW - I also tried deleting the bundles…in the Plug-ins folder. None of this worked. I’m about 3 hours into trouble shooting at this point. What do you guys think? I honestly think Plex isn’t communicating correctly somehow because the “matches” that don’t match take a long time before not matching…if you see what I mean.

Oh, and lowered the “Local Media” source to the bottom of the lists. It has a checked box for what that’s worth…

To be clear there have been no network changes. TV shows, while they seem to be taking a bit longer are matching perfectly.

What Agent are you using for the libraries?

Try change to themoviedb.

I’m having the same problem. :frowning:
