I’m using the new Plex EPG and noticed that some programmes show that are no airings scheduled when in fact the programme is in the EPG, e.g.
Searching for the programme in Live TV & DVR shows 2 episodes:
And checking their details, episode 4 (a repeat) is scheduled for FRI and episode 5 (a new one) for SAT:
As I’ve set the recording to only capture new episodes, I would expect that it shows episode 5 as upcoming airing.
This is still not coming up as a scheduled airing; when I change the recording to record New and Repeat Airings, it then shows tomorrow’s episode.
Got another programme that doesn’t show up as scheduled even though it’s listed in the EPG:

That entry for Wednesday is wrong in the EPG, it should be S2 E2
Well spotted - this is another issue with the EPG then; I don’t have series 1 in my library and looking at Channel 4’s schedule, this WED at 22:00 they show episode 2 of series 2.
Sadly, this (as you say) is another issue with the new EPG
It should still record (New/Repeat airings), but will get wrong details for it, need to manually rename to get it correct
These little issues are getting annoying
