No Video on iPad (audio ok)

I’ve been using Plex on my iPad for a long time without any issues. A couple of weeks ago I updated the app and all the sudden when I tried to watch a movie or TV show, I would only get a black screen (no subtitles) and audio. I did some troubleshooting and it appears that if the file is HEVC 10 bit color depth I have a problem, but if it’s HEVC 8 bit color everything is ok. I tried to force transcoding and that didn’t solve the issue. I do not have any issues on my iPhone 17 Pro. I’ve added logs if needed, and below are all the device and PMS details.

App: Plex for iOS 2026.1.0 (1537)
Device: iPad15,3 (iPad Air 11” M3), iPadOS 26.3

PMS: 1.43.0.10492 (Docker, HW transcoding works properly)

This issue appears to have gotten fixed in client version 2026.2.0 (1566). There was nothing obvious in the release notes talking about the fix, however I no longer have playback issues after updating.
