[Bug] iOS Plex app does not show subtitles on iPad

Bug: iOS Plex app on iPad does not allow me to show subtitles. Using iPad 6th generation on iPadOS 17.4.1.

This happens both for:

  1. srt subtitles embedded in mkv video files. they don’t even show up.
  2. subtitles selected in the Playback Settings < Subtitles < More… < Subtitle Search feature. After searching for and selecting a subtitle, the “Subtitles” menu remains stuck on “Off”.

The problem does not occur when I watch the same video in the Plex iOS app on iPhone or via plex web on my PC: there I can play both types of subtitles without problems.
