Plex on iPad not playing any movies or shows with TrueHD Audio

After I’ve finally begrudgingly updated my iPad Plex App to the latest version, any movie or TV Show file I have that has TrueHD audio will not play or transcode.

It only times out after 5s saying “Error Opening Input”

I have disabled Direct Play and Direct Stream, and when I go to the Dashboard on my PMS window I can see it attempt to transcode to OPUS but it always fails.

Even attempts at Downloads onto the iPad never progress into the Transcoding or Conversion stage past 0%

This used to work on the previous version as evidenced by me having these movies downloaded before but now they aren’t allowed.

Also please when can we download Seasons at a time for TV Shows its still incredibly frustrating this was taken away, feels like Halo Infinite with “UI Limitations”.

Update:

Again, a bug with the Codecs folder. Shut down the server, deleted the Codec folder from AppData, rebooted and its working fine again.

Can there be an implementation of cleaning or remaking the Codecs folder automatically any time the server is restarted? This is the source of many of mine and friends troubles with using plex that certain codecs don’t work on their systems and the server refuses to transcode it.

This bug has existed for at least 3 years when looking on reddit about this same issue.
