How can i see the files as a list view? Now i can only see thumbnails and it takes years to roll all those names. I want to see the names of the files so i know what to choose.
Kodi Plugins coudnt even show the folder list, so it was completely useless.
Normal Plex client on the TV does show the folder list also.
Still, how can i customize that list?
You don’t indicate which type of library you’re talking about, so this may not apply, but you have the following choices in all library types except Photo:
Plex won’t show the actual file names in a list format. You will only see the file name if you use the ‘Get Info’ command for an item.
I have videos from Youtube and i would like to watch them from my TV. They are named ‘xxxnamexxx episode 01.mp4’ etc.
Now i can only see 17 first letter and huge thumbnail image and i need to wait till it scroll the name so i can see what episode it is.
If i use Kodi instead, i can see whole filename and there is no thumbnails.
Plex is still under development, but atleast now it is really clumsy.
If i select ‘Library’ and ‘Movies’ view, then it is even worse. It show all files in same list, even when they are in different folders. Folders view is better, but not useful either.
