Not able to sync for offline

I bought the Plex lifetime pass so that I can download content for offline viewing on my iOS app.

But every time I try to download for offline, I get a message saying “syncing is not supported on this server”.

All my content is originally in a hard rive connected to my iMac (which is on for me to stream successfully on my iOS device and smart TV).

Anyone know how to fix this?

I ran into same problem recently without any obvious reason.

I uninstalled Plex on my iOS device(s); reinstalled and logged in with my PlexPass user.

This solved the problem for me.
