How do I get Plex to show a thumbnail on all folders in a photo library?
I’ve seen the following:
Thumbnail is shown correctly (both poster and background are shown and selected in the edit dialog).
No thumbnail is shown initially, but after I click on the edit button it shows a wrong thumbnail (the same as on a different folder).
No poster/background is available in the edit dialog of the folder (although the whole folder was analyzed and all photos in it show thumbnails).
Poster and background are available in the edit dialog, but are not selected and therefore not shown on the folder (I don’t want to select them manually for all my hundreds of folders…)
I’ve tried re-analyzing the folders but this didn’t change anything.
How do I do that? There is no action to refresh metadata on a photo or photo folder like there is for movies/TV shows.
In the meantime some of the folders fixed themselve. Maybe because I renamed files in them and that triggered a (partial) rescan?
edit: Can’t seem to fix the remaining folders by new/renamed files, so I don’t know what fixed the other ones.
Although most of my photo folders now correctly show thumbnails, I still have a few that don’t. I’ve tried everything I can think of (full scan, analyze, change of content) but nothing brings thumbnails to these folders. And they all now also show this weird bug that I explained as point 2 in the initial post (wrong thumbnail after I click on them).
